PRO TIPS

To use as NEWBORN nappies use a booster inside the nappy instead of the tri-fold snap-in absorber to avoid excess bulk on your newborn. Once your bub is wetting more regularly and has grown into the nappy, then you can switch to using the snap-in absorber.

A handy tip when using the boosters on boys, is to fold the top third of the booster down before putting it inside the absorber. Try to position the booster at the front half of the nappy (or toward the belly button) for extra absorption at the front.

  • Originals ALL-IN-2 snap-in tri-fold absorbers are 3 layers of a high quality bamboo and cotton blend for superior absorbency and are 33x35cm in size. They are rectangular in shape and feature two snaps towards the back so that they can be snapped into place and allow for a range of boosting options.

Originals ALL-IN-2 boosters are 2 outer layers of stay-dry Charcoal Bamboo blend and 3 inner layers of highly absorbent microfibre are ideal for heavy to very heavy wetters. Charcoal is stay dry, anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, naturally deodorising and dark in colour to avoid stains. Bamboo is super soft, wicks moisture away quickly, and can keep your baby comfortable even when wet.

When put together, they are the perfect combination to boost your little ones nappy and is ideal for heavy wetters and extra assurance of dryness both day and night. For full absorbency, it is recommended that you wash your Charcoal Bamboo Inserts a few times before using them. Strip washing may be required after many uses if absorbency appears to be compromised.

Originals ALL-IN-2 nappy shells have a super soft one-way Charcoal Bamboo inner cloth. Bebe & Fawn Baby Co. chose to use this combination as Charcoal Bamboo is hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, naturally deodorising and its natural dark colour is better at hiding any stains. Charcoal Bamboo is 100% organic, burned inside an oven at temperatures over 1000°C to create a powder that is then spun into organic bamboo material. Bamboo is super absorbent, naturally antibacterial and a sustainable resource.  It is our belief that this fabric is far superior to other fabrics generally used in stay-dry nappies. All moisture is drawn away from your little ones skin, keeping your baby dry and helping prevent nappy rash - all moisture is drawn into the absorbers microfibre layer.

Originals ALL-IN-2 nappy shells have a waterproof outer lining that is TPU or Thermoplastic Polyurethane and prevents any moisture from leaving the inside of the nappy so you don't need a new shell each time your little one uses it. Waterproof lining means the shell can be reused, lasting numerous changes before washing is required. TPU is heat bonded to cotton or polyester, instead of chemically bonded, and is exposed to fewer harsh chemicals in the making process. Bebe & Fawn Baby Co. made the decision to design our nappies using this material as a conscious effort to bring you and your little one materials that are organic or friendly to the environment. It is our belief that TPU is softer and more fabric-like than streamlined PUL nappies. TPU should not however be washed on temperatures hotter than 60 degrees celcius as it can damage the laminate.

Originals ALL-IN-2 nappy shells are designed with double gussets in the thigh area to decrease leaks and were designed to have no opening at the back (like a pocket nappy) and instead have extra gusseting at the rear of the nappy to also avoid leakage up the back of your little one. This was a conscious design choice as we wanted to provide reusable nappy shells that did not have to be washed each time they were used - the absorber and boosters can be changed instead.
